Literally never experienced this. There are gunners, sure, but no one I have met not been willing to help or explain something to me, less try to sabotage me.
Sorry about missing happy hour, I didn't see that message

. I had an awesome night, though.

I am pretty much definitely attending UF even though I haven't heard from FSU yet and got a waitlist from a top ten school!

My opinion pretty much mirrors the other posts; I thought the ASW was really nice. The faculty was very accessible and the school had a nice laid back/non-cutthroat feel.
I couldn't attend the financial aid concurrent session; however, Ms. Adorno told me that basically all you need to do is fill out the FAFSA and send in the supplemental form that comes with the acceptance packet. Could someone who attended the financial aid session confirm this? Thanks.

How far away from the law school is this? It didn't seem like there was many houses with an open acre of land nearby...

Ha ha maybe you met us and just didn't know it

TLS anonymity is too valuable to forfeit. No, I didn't imply you were lying. I just figured it would have been much further away.

You know, we will find out one way or another

hah I don't think its a big deal. Don't make a HUGE ass of yourself on the forums and it won't make a difference. I probably won't spend much/any time on TLS once I start LS anyway.

I dunno about that last part Barbie, I think you might be on the TLS crack!

WHAT?! No oneone?!

haha.
I have no idea right now. I know if I choose to stay in state, it'd pretty much have to be UF, as it would make the most sense to have the two best FL schools' networks to use...
I really wasn't impressed by their ASD at all though. It seemed like they knew they were #1 in the state and didn't really put much effort into trying to sell the place, because they knew people would go there anyway. And it bothered me they wouldn't allow us to ask the career lady questions in the session! like they were trying to avoid having to answer the 'difficult' ones in front of the crowd of people they want to impress. Like, we all get how large and awesome the "gator nation" is... but tell me what the office actually does for students. Idk. I don't DISlike the school, but I was hoping to be more impressed/excited after leaving the event and it just didn't happen. After this weekend, I decided I will most likely choose another school out of state.
