I don't know, but you could try looking at the NU 2009 thread. You might be able to see when they did last year.rogerlodge wrote:does it say anywhere when they will start issuing financial aid/scholarships?

It seems nobody last year on LSN posted reliable info on date recieved for $$. However at this threadhttp://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 8&start=50 it looks like March 23-24th was the date people started to hear things.
So now someone is obligated to give me their scholly!

Thanks. I also did some searching through last year's threads and was disappointed how little talk there was about scholarship decisions from NU.homestyle28 wrote:It seems nobody last year on LSN posted reliable info on date recieved for $$. One thing I noticed is that it seemed like last year there were quite a few acceptances with full tuition scholarships contingent upon the applicant deferring and working for a year. I hope there's still a good amount of $ for this year's applicants. Anyone know more about this?

For held people, should we expect any sort of acknowledgement that NU received are "please keep considering me" forms? For example, will the status checkers ever change back to complete?

I don't think so - unless they never got mine! I faxed it in the day after I got held, on 2/4, and never heard back or saw any changes on my status checker.roxj wrote:For held people, should we expect any sort of acknowledgement that NU received are "please keep considering me" forms? If you want confirmation you need to contact NU. They will not proactively notify you.NancyBotwin wrote:I don't think so - unless they never got mine! <--- knows from experience.
Once I asked them to inform me when everything was complete, they were very good about letting me know when they'd received and processed the form, my LOCI, and other additional materials.
Remember, it's always your responsibility to ensure the completeness of your application materials; no matter which school you are talking about.

Wait, did you guys email in the form? What did you do, sign it, scan it, then send it back? I faxed it, since they provided their fax number and all....but never got confirmation.

the guy i talked to was really nice. i was worried mine email didn't go through because i kept gettin an error message complaining about the size. turns out, they got it about six times.NancyBotwin wrote:I think I'm going to have to call and make sure they got it. I'm kinda worried now.

maybe i'm behind the email woes they tweeted about this week.

+1, except I didn't get an immediate confirmation, just this one two weeks later, and I never called.MirandaHobbes wrote:i signed it, scannned it, then emailed it along with a LOCI. i got a confirmation email, immediately. but because i sent it all on a sunday, i followed up with a phone call.NancyBotwin wrote:Wait, did you guys email in the form?
