Rejected by Boston University - no surprise there but they sent me a fee waiver and I took it!

Wait listed at Wisconsin - do people ever actually make it off wait lists because despite the cold I'm actually pretty interested

In at Wisconsin via email! So excited. Slightly lower ranked, but my best friend lives in Madison, so it is one of my top choices.

I'd guess Wisconsin does a bit better than its ranking. And you can get out without a ton of debt. I thought about applying there.

Rejected at Georgetown (DR 1/21)

Acceptance at Cardozo came with a $69,000 scholarship, not 23k as originally reported.

Just received notice of a Full Ride Tuition plus RA position scholarship at Iowa via snail mail.

After all of the bad things I said about them after getting the cold shoulder. . . this is redemption.

Not choosing it just based on that, but it is definitely a point in Wisconsin's favor. And she and her husband just bought a house in Madison. They aren't going anywhere. Wisconsin also has some other things going for it that I really love. It is still early in my cycle (I have only heard from 3 schools thus far) so no decisions yet, but this was an acceptance that I really wanted.
