tea might be good. theyre so thoughtful and i am always such a food-bringer. i always thought food was the best gift ever, but meeting an entire family of people who only eat because they need fuel to exercise has turned my gift-giving on end for the last few yearsClemCarter wrote:fancy wasa? loose-leaf tea?gahthelaw wrote:his mom is a personal trainer. unless i get them wasabread its politely going into the cabinet for 'later use'ClemCarter wrote:food/coffee/booze. duh. done and done.gahthelaw wrote: cmon nyu. you're making me worry about you when i'm supposed to be worrying about what to get my boyfriend's parents for christmas. god.

But they're the outliers. And think about it this way: if you bring them something they're not going to eat, now they have something to bring to a holiday party and you've saved them an errand. It's still a worthwhile present.gahthelaw wrote:

Is anyone still submitting scholarship essays? How are we supposed to submit them? By fax/email/snail mail?

San Antonio, TX. The letter was sent out on 12/16 and was probably held up by "snowmaggedon". I submitted all my applications on 10/1 and was notified that I was complete and under review by email on 12/8. Two weeks of silence, then word!jumpinjackflash wrote:where are you located (city?) mind sharing numbers, dates of sent and complete etc?

Re: NYU 2010
Funny story... after being told a decision was made the 9th and then told it had been sent, it never actually got sent. Does anyone know what this means? I figure it does not necessarily mean rejected/held because some of those have been sent out already too and it's not like they are waiting for the new year to do so. I'm hoping scholarship consideration? Not incredible numbers but Public interest all over my resume so maybe? Oh yeah... I'm ED
