Which means tomorrow - big day.
I stand quite mistaken.

WELL HOPEFULLY TOMORROW THEN. (Or maybe Friday - I mean who knows really).
It seems they have been sending out decisions every eeek since the end of Jan..

Invites went out a few weeks ago (to everyone), applications are due Monday. I think about six per year?

No idea about the numbers but I'm working on the application now. Pretty unsure about what they're looking for to be honest

Are Toll decisions based just on the specific scholarship app or based on the scholarship app in conjunction with our general application? or do we not know the answer to that?

I think it's based on both apps

Yah the questions are very open ended - I completed my app a few days ago (just a warning if you don't open the video upload in a different window it'll erase your application and make you re-do the whole thing

Does anybody here know about Penn's Teach For America scholarship? Have they already sent out invites to apply for it? Is it even something you apply for? FWIW I'm wrapping up my second year in TFA now.

I have a good feeling about today. Even if it's a rejection, I'm OK with it - I just want to know at this point.

I've been UR2 for over a month so I feel like my time is finally coming.

This might sound dumb but if you haven't been admitted yet does that mean you can't apply for the Toll anymore?

Good response!

I'm sort of surprised nothing this week to be honest.

I can't even lie y'all I'm blown. I just KNEW this week would be a decision week. I'm honestly quite surprised. Was hoping for good news as we move into this 3 day weekend. :( But the day is not over so we still have hope!

Hey y'all, does Penn send out scholly info in the portfolio/package or does it come even after that? Searched past threads but came up empty-handed.

Not to be neurotic but if my 2 min Toll video is less than 1.5 min do you guys think that is acceptable or do I need to get closer to hitting that mark?

Ugh I was looking at LSN and all these people with my stats got in and I was waitlisted probably because of my crappy penn essay :(

Idk if anyone can answer this with any certainty because scholly doings are so far from transparent, but here goes anyway: what happens to Levy nominee when they aren't ultimately selected for the scholarship? Do they still get some generic money? Any ballpark as to how much to expect?

-asking for a friend who isn't me and is totally unqualified for the Levy but was somehow nominated anyway?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
