Thanks. I guess I should be happy with the movementhopefuljumbo23 wrote:
Unfortunately you won't know until they let you know. Some people have gotten put on reserve. Some have been accepted. None, to my knowledge, have gotten dinged after an interview request.

FWIW, I mailed mine in and got my offer in two weeks (the first two waves went out on Mondays).ProductofUnreality wrote:Way too impatient for that... That's not bad. I'll have to print it from a Kinkos or something anyway, so I'll probably see if I can fax it. I've been out of school so long I don't even have a printer anymore lolTycho wrote:FWIW, I mailed mine in and got my offer in two weeks (the first two waves went out on Mondays).ProductofUnreality wrote:Way too impatient for that... Think I might be getting yp'd at cornell because of the schools I listed...I really want to go though (of course assuming I was even considered in the first place)

i suspect the answer is no, but any correlation between getting the email about the accepted students portal, and a scholarship offer?
faxed in my form a bit ago and i'm getting antsy.

I faxed my forms last Monday too and am above both 75ths. Should I start getting worried or is it still early?

The first two waves of scholly offers came on a Monday (15th and 22nd), so you may very well get one on the 29th. I haven't seen any offers not on those two days so far. Still early.Egzon wrote:I faxed my forms last Monday too and am above both 75ths. Should I start getting worried or is it still early?

I didn't do well during the interview so followed up with an email explaining.

Re: Cornell Law School c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Are you above both 75ths? I don't think Cornell bases YP on what other schools you apply to (at least not solely). For instance I submitted an app to Harvard, I also only have like a 15-25% chance of getting in to Harvard. Cornell would not look at my applying to Harvard as a threat because I am not likely to get in. If you, however, are in range for HYS then its possible they might take your application to those schools as a threat. Overall though, I think YP is mostly based on your numbers.AfrocentricAsian wrote:Think I might be getting yp'd at cornell because of the schools I listed...I really want to go though (of course assuming I was even considered in the first place)

Anyone know anything about the Charles E. Hughes Scholar Program? I can't seem to find anything through searching except that this might be its first or second year.

Does Cornell always request an interview or will they ding/wl without requesting one?
