Does anyone here who was accepted know what this means?

I got in a few days before you and I just checked my status checker...doesn't say "Welcome packet" for mine, it still says "Decision made; watch for email". I think we're supposed to receive something through snail mail.

I already received the Welcome to Duke Law email so should I be concerned that my status checker hasn't changed and I haven't received anything from Duke via snail mail?
Yes, you get a cool folder full of Duke stuff in the mail. It's got a more formal acceptance letter, some tchotchkes, a Duke Law magazine, and some other promotional materials and such.
Does this acceptance letter say "provisional"?

Yes. My understanding is that all PT admissions are provisional until you fill out a scholarship app. If you don't want to be considered for a scholarship, you can let them know and you'll be fully (and no longer provisionally) admitted forthwith.

+1. Both the email and the letter that I received said this

I figured that was the case- I know I got in but the word provisional is giving me a bit of stress.

Applicant's Log
Day Seven

A week has passed since I began the voyage of submitting my application. My supplies are running low, and I grow weary. The fabled tales say that I may not reach the end of this voyage until the first week of December. I am not sure how much longer I will last out here in the barren wilderness of Waitersville.

When did you submit?! We can survive it! The waiting stress will only take a few years off of our lives, worth it!

I thought you submitted a while before me though? Maybe I'm thinking of a different school. Hopefully your wait is over by tomorrow!!

I think it was a couple days but I submitted on a weekend so it probably just got processed the day before yours?
Ohh ok, I thought it was 10 days from your submission date. Mine when complete/UR on the same day I submitted it so there wasn't a difference in that for me (I did submit on a Monday though)

I submitted the first week of September but am non-PT. The suspense will hopefully be worth it

My status checker changed to "Decision made- watch for email at 9pm and I got the email at 1am. The status checker doesn't change to show the actual decision afterwards.

It was. I was on a train and was shaking really hard and checking my phone every other minute. I'm pretty sure the elderly gentleman next to me thought I was on drugs or something.

We'll probably get our decisions the same day then. I went complete on Monday as well.

Thanks. At least now I have a substantive reason to check it every five minutes.
My vote is on Monday for decision made. I've never disliked Thanksgiving so much

Haha I believe it! I got my first acceptance today (WUSTL) and made the mistake of looking at the email while on a treadmill. Almost fell off from excitement
