Long time lurker here. Just wondering if one of the more seasoned TLSers could make a thread for W&M c/o 2019 applicants? Their app opened yesterday :D

Thankfully I should have most done before that :D

+1 to fellow bourbon and scotch lovers
Since I'm retaking I will have PTing and app work. So until October 3rd, my football Saturdays will be limited to watching 1 game. :x

Welcome!! I am not applying to W&M, but bumping this so someone else might see it!

If you want to make it yourself, I'm sure based would be happy to add it to the first page of the Compendium, though you'd have to wait a few weeks before you could add a banner!

What traits do you consider to be very Southern?
Sweet tea, grits and general awesome food, southern hospitality, y'all, guns, church, conservative generally, SEC football, country music, ect
Had to post because when you mentioned "y'all" it reminded of this water tower in my home town, and I don't even feel like we are 'south' at all, though I do hate the hillbilly water tower lol.

Sorry for the link, I'm not sure how to post images, and don't think I can do it from my phone.

My humble opinion is that everything on Richmond, VA's latitude and south (minus Kansas and Oklahoma and west of Texas) can be called southern.

While NYC does not have good traditional fast food options, your access to "good food fast" more than makes up for it.

Haha, I agree that Kentucky in and of itself may be somewhat the south. I'm actually sitting just about exactly where Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana meet though. Northern KY is 100% different from the rest of the state, it's considered more Cincinnati. You can drive 25 minutes south and start hearing accents though, it's insane.

That's a beef patty topped with a cheese-stuffed, deep-fried mushroom.
That's.... Unreal. So jealous (though isn't it a bit early for lunch? :P )
