Thought so, too. Not sure what it means--whether there's something seriously wrong with my app that CCN overlooked/let by, or yield protection. Hoping it's the latter.Mack.Hambleton wrote:Weird for those statsBlythe17 wrote:My first rejection via email--so this is how it hurts...(>75 LSAT, >50 GPA).

Does UR since 1/26 mean rejection/WL at this point? I'm in at Cornell and have a great scholarship at GW (will probably go there), but I kind of have my heart set on Penn.

I was UR 1 for 3 weeks and UR 2 for over a month (I was actually UR 2 on 1/26) and was accepted yesterday. Don't give up hope yet!westave wrote:Does UR since 1/26 mean rejection/WL at this point? Does anyone know if you need to submit a FASFA in order to be considered for merit aid? I know this seems odd, but apparently some other schools want your info before they give out scholarship offers.

Submitted before the new year, complete 1/7, UR1 1/26. On the one hand, we managed to dodge the bloodbath last week, but I wouldn't mind a little movement?yayfriendship wrote:@idissent - When did you go complete? I went complete 12/30

Well, at least this means there's a whole support group of us who went UR2 on the same day, so we can obsess about it in good company.

Does anyone know how often Penn draws from their waitlist?

Re: University of Pennsylvania Law School C/O 2018 Applicants
Just for reference a fast or slow UR2 hasn't been a clear indicator for much. I remember some people who got quick UR2s and had a negative decision - WL/ding - the next decision day. But it's definitely good to be moving to UR2. I'm surprised people have been sitting at UR1 for over a month.
Very rarely (around 5%) if previous cycles are a good indicator of the current one. That being said, it is to your advantage to stay on the list.olleti wrote:Does anyone know how often Penn draws from their waitlist?
