I was UR 1 for 3 weeks and UR 2 for over a month (I was actually UR 2 on 1/26) and was accepted yesterday. Don't give up hope yet!

Does anyone know if you need to submit a FASFA in order to be considered for merit aid? I know this seems odd, but apparently some other schools want your info before they give out scholarship offers.

Submitted before the new year, complete 1/7, UR1 1/26. On the one hand, we managed to dodge the bloodbath last week, but I wouldn't mind a little movement?

Just for reference a fast or slow UR2 hasn't been a clear indicator for much. I remember some people who got quick UR2s and had a negative decision - WL/ding - the next decision day. But it's definitely good to be moving to UR2. I'm surprised people have been sitting at UR1 for over a month.

Very rarely (around 5%) if previous cycles are a good indicator of the current one. That being said, it is to your advantage to stay on the list.
