Still pending here.
Complete 1/6. UR1 1/6 or something and UR2 1/18, and since then, just waiting.
Is this good or bad?!

I wonder why they're taking so long to reject me. All this wait is giving me unnecessary hope lol

Mine went from complete to UR1 on the same day.. is that a normal thing or did they just take my application from the complete pile and throw it away hahalizzielemon wrote:Oh gosh, that sucks more! sorry :/nickhalden wrote:lol.lizzielemon wrote:Still pending here.

That's what mine did too, i hope it's normal. Throwing away the apps accidentally would make more sense though for people not hearing back lolbodie9 wrote:

UR1 10/10 still. I think I'm king of the #DLSnever crew. This is absurd. I don't even have a chance, right? I got into some lower T14s, but I'm below medians for both LSAT and GPA. The only thing I have going for me is legacy - my grandfather went to NYU Law when he got back from the Korean War.nickhalden wrote:lol.lizzielemon wrote:Still pending here.

I think us people with ur2 from dec-early feb are getting WL'd. They usually wait for April to start WL waves. Hopefully I'm wrong

So maybe this is being overly pessimistic, but I've been URI for a loooong time now... Anyone know whens the latest NYU has sent out decisions in recent years?

re-checking in, DLS never.
UR1 on 11/10. Not a peep, not a hiss, nor a byword.
LSAT at 75th, GPA just below median. trying to figure out what they may not have liked with my app. anyway just complaining

Checking in for team DLS never. Applied ED 11/13, under review 12/2, bumped to regular decision and not a peep since. 3 month anniversary was on the 2nd. I'm below the median LSAT and above the median GPA, but not quite at the 75th percentile.
Not to sound too impatient but NYU is one of the last three schools I'm waiting for. I was sort of hoping my status'd be updated by now at least. I applied regular decision to 11 other schools on 12/30. Considering I applied to NYU a month and half before that, you'd just think...

wait am I missing something on financial aid? submitted needaccess but don't know where I could check whether or not it's under review... help?paragonloop wrote:+1ZagzagaTorshi wrote:Has anyone else that applied for the IILJ scholarship (and has been accepted to NYU) heard absolutely nothing? My financial aid application has remained at "Under Final Review" for 2+ weeks. I'm guessing it's good news that we haven't received a ding yet for IILJ, although it sounds like other scholarship programs have already been informed that they are finalists.

This crossed my mind, but I chose not to for a couple reasons:sneezus wrote:so those of you on the DLS never crew:

1. Risk of annoying New Yorkers.
2. Risk of having my application sent to the back of the queue. I don't know if NYU does this, but some places will send your app to the back of the pile if there is added info.
Then again, it may not hurt.

I'm also scared to send a LOCI - I'd say wait until at least mid-April.
If I get rejected after this 2+ month wait, I'll be sad.

Re: NYU c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015)
To be honest, I don't see an issue with sending a LOCI before your fate is sealed. Anecdotally, I sent one to Berk wayyy early in the cycle before I even had a decision (like two weeks after I applied because I was hit with 2 waitlists as my very first decisions and started to panic). Got a call from the Dean two weeks later. Not sure if my LOCI spurred that (I added some more info as to "Why Berk") or if I would have been admitted regardless, but it definitely didn't hurtnawi226 wrote:This crossed my mind, but I chose not to for a couple reasons:sneezus wrote:so those of you on the DLS never crew:
