Thanks Hawk. FWIW: In my interview, I mentioned the 2/1 deadline. She said they commonly take essays through February. It pains me a little to say this as I don't want the extra competition. But you deserve to know, it may still be okay to submit.JustHawkin wrote:So pissed I missed this... Noooo that means I could have taken a little more time to work on mine? Darn I should have asked about this.
Yossarian if it helps, I've been obsessively reading past threads and it looks like others did not receive a confirmation email either and they seem to announce winners mid April (which seems strange to me as its after the deposit deadline)

Hmm. That is strange, and frustrating. I was hoping to know before I started scholarship negotiation. How are you going to approach that? Will you just negotiate as if you won't get it? Will you bring it up in your negotiation letters?ojala wrote:JustHawkin wrote:

Has anybody gotten schollie $$ offers on a day besides a Friday? Or do I need to resign myself to not hearing anything until Friday at the earliest?

Just found mine in my spam folder, I must have overlooked it multiple times.
Like many, I am disappointed.

Everyone is saying that their scholarships are "bad" or that they are "disappointed," but I'm not seeing any actual numbers. I have no idea if mine my offer is also low, above average this cycle..etc. I'd like to know where I stand haha. Feel free to PM if you don't want to post it to the thread.... I'm just trying to get an idea of what I'm working with here.
