Yeah it could definitely be real especially since it seems a lot of people who regularly would be reporting an early acceptance have been pulled for an interview.

Plus, pretty much only people who lived in NYC would have heard today. Do we have a lot of people on TLS right now who live and NYC and have had the opportunity to check their mail today?

wait. what is up with Alaska getting everything before the west coast and before Hawaii? I would have thought it was because everything was put on a plane, but it's before Hawaii still.

and why does it take MS an extra day? And mail can get to Stehekin, Washington, where there are no connecting roads and they didn't get phone service until 2007, faster than it can get to Medford, Oregon, an area with over 200,000 people?

Not priority - you pay more for that. I think First Class would be what they would have used.
