So I very (very) rarely post on TLS but I wanted to come out of my lurkerdom to say that

I JUST GOT INTO STANFORD!!!!!!! I have been waitlisted the past two years at Stanford so I have literally been waiting for 2 years, 4 months and 12 days for this phone call. Absolutely blown away.

I'm trying to take comfort in the fact that those accepted today with January complete dates (that we know of) were URMs...maybe the first non-URM January-complete acceptances will come in the next wave

What has been the average wait time for going complete? I submitted about 7 days ago and it's now complete. Other schools are saying 2-3 weeks. Stanford is apparently deserving of credit for efficiency.

I got notified I was complete/UR exactly seven days from date of submission, too. The spreadsheet indicates about a week is average. And apparently they are already making decisions on early Jan submits. So, they do seem pretty efficient, especially compared to some of their peer schools!
