So if I have a 159 and waitlisted I have 0% chance of getting in basically. Why would they waitlist me in the first place? Would they just have rejected me?

That's about how much I make every six weeks (I feel you brother, it sucks to be poor) and I retook twice.
Retake.

I got accepted with 167/3.87 w/money,,, don't loose hope with a 167

WL here. Anyone know how an additional LOR is supposed to be sent? (All the WL FAQ says is: "With respect to new letters of recommendation, they should only be sent if you strongly believe that they illuminate substantially different aspects to your candidacy not covered by the previous letters submitted on your behalf.") I already maxed out with two in my original application, so I can't send it via LSAC. Should I just have the writer send it himself?

Yes you or the writer can just send it directly to the Admissions Office and they will add it to your file. They did for me.

Do you mind sharing your stats? Or you could pm them if that'd be more comfortable for youbethanyrose09 wrote:was just notified that I have an WL interview on Monday. I'm really surprised by it because my LSAT is pretty low. I am super grateful though!
Does any one have any recommendations for the interview? What should I expect?
And if my LSAT is low (GPA is high), should I expect any financial aid if accepted?

Accepted off of the WL last week! Pretty pumped about it, as UCLA was the school that I had originally set my sights on when I began the law school application process!

HOUSING:
I presume the daughter referenced below is an undergrad, but this listing may still be helpful if you want to move to Westwood and just get settled for a few months before signing a full-year commitment.
Hello,
My daughter has a sublet around UCLA for fall of 2013. If you know of folks in need of temporary housing around UCLA, please pass along. If you're interested, please contact Athena directly at email below.
--------------------
We're looking to sublet one space (female only) in a 1 bedroom/1bath apartment in Westwood, Los Angeles, this fall. The room is shared with two other female UCLA students. The apartment has a large living room and a kitchen with great natural light. Located on Landfair Ave near Strathmore Dr, the apartment is only a 5-10 minute walk from UCLA's campus and Westwood. Rent is $500/month before utilities (gas, electricity, internet). Approximate time: September 23 (the beginning of UCLA's Fall 2013 quarter), to the end of the year.
If Interested, please contact Athena at bongoathenahuang@gmail.com (mailto:bongoathenahuang@gmail.com)
