the admissions offices at SLS and YLS are going at similar paces. both probably are doing extensive faculty reviews.matrim wrote:Sooo..Im sure I could spend sometime going through threads, but can anyone explain off the cuff - why at this point there are some many people who havent heard back from SLS yet? The application deadline has passed...it seems there has been a few small waves of acceptances - and a small wave of dings. Why does this take so long? Is that they many apps go to different fac. reviews/commit. etc?
I couldn't say. Stanford isn't updating for me - not through Status Check, not when I follow the link from my original email - never had this problem before, but several schools are being cranky today.xiaojimu wrote:am I the only one who got DLS yesterday?

Harvard, NYU, Berkeley, and Penn. I think that others were earlier but worked it out. It may have something to do with the LSAC.org-->register.com redirect issue lots of people (including me) are having.xiaojimu wrote:tried calling?pedestrian wrote:I couldn't say. For the past 60 pages, once a day someone comes on here to complain their status checker isn't working, but this means they aren't using the link from the email they were sent. It became funny because it happened so much, then not funny because it happened so much.wannabelawstudent wrote:Hey humble Stanford applicants. Yup, and LSAC's website is acting funny for some people. Almost certainly the cause.amonthofsundays wrote:It must be an LSAC issue because most of my status checkers are having issues today.
Wrong. It was never not funny. It was always just a question of how funny it was.helix23 wrote:For the past 60 pages, once a day someone comes on here to complain their status checker isn't working, but this means they aren't using the link from the email they were sent. But I'm obviously using the link from the email and it is down.
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
