Just as a point of reference, at this time last year Duke had issued 96% of their offers of admission (per LSN data from '11-'12 cycle). I'm not too optimistic...

I just realized that the email with my scholarship form for Duke never sent back in January. I just sent it in, but I know I'm screwed. I just figured they never emailed me back saying they got it because they were busy.

Oh man, so sorry to read this. On the bright side, people are still just now hearing whether they were admitted or not. You'll probably be fine.

Thanks. It's nice to hear I may not be completely screwed. Today has just been a roller coaster of emotion: dinged at Stanford, accepted at UVA, then comes the realization that my scholarship form hadn't sent for Duke. I think I need a drink and bed time.

I've heard a few people in the same GPA range with 169-171 LSAT have all gotten this amount, I'd expect that unless your app was uber-tailored toward Duke.

Twas not. And that's good to hear. I'd be quite happy with that offer.

I'd like to think that, in an ideal world, need based wouldn't be a total flame...but need based is a total flame and I am morally opposed to complaining about any type of scholarship.

I can say that need based hasn't been a flame everywhere (have gotten it at UPenn and UCLA). Everywhere else it has been for me. I think some schools get a bad rep because the majority of them (Duke included) doesn't actually give out any need based aid. All I can say is be patient and keep the faith!

Not only ungrateful, but seriously... did you not read the earlier pages? There are people who were accepted in December only just now getting scholarship information. Why are you such a special snowflake that you should get yours immediately?

I as well received a date update. i've been UR since 11/19 and just had a date change to 2/26. Anticipating a ding/hopefully a WL soon. Good luck to everyone!
