I saw on lawschoolpredictor.com that NYU's 25/75 percentile ranges were listed as 170/174, when last year's class was actually 169/173 (according to NYU's site). Does this mean LSP is using older data in its actual predictions as well?

This webpage, http://www.top-law-schools.com/rankings.html , lists Harvard's 25th/75th as 171/176 when Harvard lists it as 170/175 for the most recent class.shntn wrote:Tell that to the TLS admin behind it.sinfiery wrote:Yes. No clue, but probably correct for a different timeframe. That page was last updated in March of 2012, before the most recent class's statistics were available (before the most recent class was finished forming, actually.)LexLeon wrote:This webpage, http://www.top-law-schools.com/rankings.html , lists Harvard's 25th/75th as 171/176 when Harvard lists it as 170/175 for the most recent class.shntn wrote:Tell that to the TLS admin behind it.sinfiery wrote:Yes. It's 170/175 for Class of 2015.LexLeon wrote:

So is my reading of those admission graphs just wishful thinking or does it look like this week or next week some more people could hear back?

Does anyone know if NYU does application fee waivers for December scores?

Re: NYU C/O 2016 Applicants Thread!!! (Woooooo!!!!!)
Hi everyone --I'm applying today and need some last minute advice. My two LSATs are 166 and 174 (December). I know NYU says that they average. Should I submit an addendum explaining why they should take the higher (basically just studied and was more prepared the second time), or do you think they'll weight the higher one more anyways, and since my average is still a 170, there's no point in doing an addendum? I don't really have anything too compelling to say in the addendum. I'd really appreciate any advice!

ETA: There's ample evidence that, whatever NYU claims, they do not actually average LSAT scores.

What do you guys think is a good law school to apply to for the purposes of negotiating scholarship money with NYU? Will Penn or UVA do the trick?
