Waitlisted. 173, 3.41. Applied Thanksgiving Day. I wouldn't think it's a YP, especially because of my GPA, but it's definitely a surprise.

I'd say it was YP. My GPA is lower and I got in with money. They probably just want you to show more interest.

Nope, didn't write any additional supplementary essays. Although so far they're the only school (of eight) to ask for additional information about my fairly minor C&F addendum, which I thought was weird. Thanks for the words though! I want to go, but probably would only choose BU if I got money (since I've got a scholarship at a peer school), and I'd imagine my chances at negotiating a scholarship are much slimmer now that I've been waitlisted.
