This makes me like Columbia a lot more. I think what the HBS applicants did was significantly more shady, but, still, they could've handled it more harshly, which I don't think is called for. I'm glad they were reasonable about it.

Also this is awesome for all the people that actually are in because they'll get an email to confirm soon!

1. I started a questions thread here.
2. For what it's worth: last year I submitted 11/24, went complete 12/15, got a grades request 1/5, and was emailed 3/8 saying my decision was in the mail with a scanned copy of the acceptance letter. My point is, they do many batches and you don't know until you know. Don't read too much into what's going on with other people; I know I did last year. Good luck!

Thanks for the input! I think everyone would do well to note that someone who submitted before thanksgiving wasn't admitted until 3/8 last year and was never WLed or dinged!
