If one was held, and has gotten all their requested materials in - is it polite/called for to e-mail them and just notifying them that they're all in? Obviously they have 1000s of applicants, and I want to be able to get a decision as quick as possible. I had ED'd to them so it really does influence my cycle going forward (know I'm not obliged if I go, but I like will go).

Mine updated to "Offer of Admission" later in the evening on the same day when I got the call.

Last Friday they were still making calls between 6 and 6:30 EST, so don't lose hope!

I got mine at around 5pm EST, and I definitely wasn't the only one who posted around that time. The volume was still pretty high late in the day, if I remember correctly. So there should still be plently more to come :D

Optimistic prediction: me and all my friends stuck at 11/23 1st UCR go to 1/17 2nd UCR and get accepted next Friday. Hooray way to go!
