I called them just now and they told me to send it directly to one of their admissions people since it had probably gotten lost in the sheer volume of emails. Hopefully it'll go through this time.yellowmellow wrote:absolutazn87 wrote:I sent in a LOCI on Tuesday morning and I still haven't heard anything from them, not even a reply that they've received it or a date update on the status checker. Haven't been WLed or anything. Still UR 9/22
I got confirmation they received mine the next day. Maybe they are just super busy this week though

Mine never changed from 10/4, then I got a call last week.BHDLaw wrote:There are few things we know in the world of TLS. 1 - you will hear from cornell sometime after you apply for 1L summer jobs. 2 - NU just held a whole bunch of people. 3 - Nope.Moral_Midgetry wrote:The date just changed on my status checker. My email was forwarded from the generic admissions address, good you called, maybe it did get lost. Hopefully they find it just in time.absolutazn87 wrote:I called them just now and they told me to send it directly to one of their admissions people since it had probably gotten lost in the sheer volume of emails. Re: UVa. Regular Decision
I was pretty pumped! When I got the email asking me to call the admissions office, I was worried it would be a "Why UVA?" grilling for YP purposes. It was a very pleasant surprise.freon wrote:Wow, quick turnaround! Congrats!shoop wrote:Sent 12/25, complete 12/30, admitted via phone call (with $25K per year scholly) 1/28/11

Re: UVa. Regular Decision
Me too FINALLY!!! I'm definitely relieved to have an answer. I'm not riding this one out. My date was 10/20, no Why UVA.
Looks like all of us who were just waitlisted are URMs. Haha they must have rounded us all up for comparison.

Thanks! Honestly this doesn't bother me AT ALL! I will definitely not be riding this one out, and I'm really excited that I finally get to post in the Ding Bar.r6_philly wrote:Sorrylaw_monkey wrote:Me too FINALLY!!! Re: UVa. Regular Decision
Do you guys think I should send a LOCI or is it necessary because they are just getting decision to RD OOS applicants? I've been UR since 11/18, and sent a why UVA a couple weeks after which was acknowledged but I still haven't heard anything. I'm nervous I might be YP territory but I would love a scholarship from them instead lol Any thoughts???

+1. They want the URMs to battle it out. Not sure what I plan to do.law_monkey wrote:Me too FINALLY!!! I'm definitely relieved to have an answer. I'm not riding this one out. My date was 10/20, no Why UVA.

I really want to ride the WL but I'm pretty sad about still not having a definite in at any of my top choices (WL @ GW, WL @ UVa, no word from UNC, in-state)RJ127 wrote:+1. pretty sure they waitlist twice as many people as they reject. it really makes absolutely no sense. UVA does weird things.DeeCee wrote:DeeCee wrote:does anyone know how many people they keep on the waitlist? I figured as much. I'm really sad about this, because I now know it means I have zero chance of getting in with my LSAT (157).paulinaporizkova wrote:pretty sure they waitlist twice as many people as they reject. it really makes absolutely no sense.
