I didn't but I sent in a hard copy rather than an email.

Re: Stanford Law School 2011 Applicants (Pics)
Thanks for the responses. I e-mailed mine yesterday and just want whatever assurance I can get that the reason I haven't gotten an acknowledgment is that it's too late for me at this point and they've already made up their minds.
Thanks again!
Edit: On a side note, my lack of a reportable GPA is really killing me at the T10, I think. I hope I get a few lucky acceptances between now and the end of the cycle. Stanford would just be awesome!

How did you all email your LOCIs? Directly in the body of the message? PDF/doc attachment?

I did mine as a PDF attachment. For the other question, they took about 1 week to confirm receipt.whytheface wrote:How did you all email your LOCIs? Directly in the body of the message? PDF/doc attachment?

Law school is the downfall of my productivity this year. Every time I have something important for school due, some school starts their acceptances (aka Stanford calls and Columbia letters). And whenever I make a to do list, any law school things immediately jump ahead of school work things).Knock wrote:Sweet. I need to get on my LOCI! They value diversity. But it's not likely to be different than other schools.piilehua wrote:does anyone know how much SLS takes ethnicity into account?

I am sorry, but just a quick question. I submitted my application on January 10, but still haven't received my log-in id and password for the status checker. How long does it usually take for SLS to e-mail you the info?

I got mine in about a week earlier in the cycle. Probably much busier now. Maybe give it a few more days and then give their admissions office a phone call? Wait until Monday maybe.chococat0909 wrote:I am sorry, but just a quick question. All the rejections on LSN are September applicants. Now that we are seeing some Oct apps being rejected here, it seems plausible that SLS is going through the apps in chronigical order.

I'm putting this here as a public service to those of you (re: most of you) ITT who seem constitutionally unable to stop refreshing the status checker:
http://visitsteve.com/made/selfcontrol/
Now go have a beer or go for a walk or something.

Sadly, every time I check my status checker and it hasn't updated, I feel like I have won some small victory.
