Can people who received decisions post their sent/complete dates?

Sent 10/02
Complete 11/04
Decision 2/08
The December LSAT was in there and definitely impacted the time frame though.

I met with her in person when I was there to tour the school and stuff, and a couple of weeks later I emailed her about increasing my scholarship (she actually brought up in our meeting that I could probably get more if I tried) and today she got back to me.

Could you PM me what you e-mailed her with?kjadkins wrote:
NopeProbably not enough. Even with the $10k total, Minnesota is still gonna be significantly cheaper. I love W&M, but I'm not trying to graduate with a mountain of debt.

I e-mailed her as well. Basically, I just told her that as a military spouse, any further aid would be much appreciated. With estimated travel and living costs at $14000, even $18K a year only helps so much. Hopefully they can bump it up a little more and I think that will seal the deal for me! I tried to make it as succinct as possible because I cannot imagine the flood of e-mails they receive this time of year.

Nothing. I had this horrible dream that they actually forgot about me and forgot to send me ANY decision.

Still complete 11/8.
I'm getting frustrated waiting on a school that gave me a fee waiver (albeit common) to render any decision to even put me in review. Hell, I'm in review at California Davis, and still NO movement at W&M.

Maybe you're IR and don't know it? You might have missed the three-hour window that freaked us all the f*** out a few weeks ago; showed everyone's review dates, and then went blank again. Now mine's back to Complete. W&M likes to conduct their reviews in super-sekritness.

FWIW, my status at W&M (though I don't track it too closely) switched from complete to something about being IR or whatnot, to completely disappearing, to now being back at complete 12/9. WTF ever lol. Good luck at Davis!OklahomasOK wrote:Still complete 11/8.

Basically, just realize that the existence of the status checker is the only reason this is driving you crazy. Ignor that, and you are in no different boat at WM than you are at Davis-waiting.OklahomasOK wrote:Still complete 11/8.

I caught the 3 hour window, that makes it even more upsetting. They know I'm logging in everyday waiting. At least with Davis' status checker it says when they last updated the system before I even log in.Capitol A wrote:Basically, just realize that the existence of the status checker is the only reason this is driving you crazy. Give me your speculation please... Im looking at lawschoolnumbers.com and it seems like there is a pretty firm wall at 165. My application has been complete since November with a 3.5, 164. Im thinking that if I havent heard back yet, then I, along with most other 164's, are definitely waitlisted. or rejected.

It's fair to say that there's a bit of a wall at 165. In other words, having a decent GPA and 165+ sort of makes you "safe"
However, you CAN get in w/ a 164 or lower, depending on your app

Well, I'm a 167 with a 3.5x, complete since November, and am expecting a WL at this point. Take it for what it's worth.jmtanoury wrote:Give me your speculation please... My impression is actually that WM is one of the more holistic schools (at least that I applied to). I was one of the 11/18 admits, with GRF, and other schools with similar medians straight up rejected me-not even WL, rejected me.tttlllsss wrote:It's fair to say that there's a bit of a wall at 165. This is actually one of the reasons I will be attending WM.

Agreed, if your app is strong and your numbers are low, W&M will still take a look at youCapitol A wrote:My impression is actually that WM is one of the more holistic schools (at least that I applied to). I'm just saying that there's a bit of a wall. While everyone's given a fair shot, if there had to be a 'magic number' or something, it would be 165. Not saying 165 means auto-admit, just that having a 165 makes your app much stronger than having a 164

+1 to holistic. I got in with a 160/3.7, non-URM. I think it was my unique work stuff.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
