So are there no JR1 emails to report today? Last year there were 3 for today, which is pretty sizable. Maybe they're waiting to see who is going to be an auto-admit from the December scores? One can always hope...

I personally know someone who got a JR1 email either today or yesterday.

I'm not too concerned, it was a reach, and I didn't mind paying the app fee. Its like playing the lotto.

Correction, just looked back, and I submitted October 4.

I've been UR since 10/6, but they still haven't emailed me. Please, Harvard, just give me an answer.

Woah, did that come between your posts?? If so, that just makes me squirm more every time I get an email, especially ones from TLS telling me this topic is updated with the word "Harvard" in the title.

Did they just send it? Or did you get it earlier? And when did you submit?

Ouch, so sorry to hear about the recent dings. :( You guys all have impressive acceptances elsewhere though. Well done!

I guess they're going by complete date? People who have heard back seem to have sent everything in October. Here's to hoping the wait is short!! //nervously bites nails

I'm really sorry Raramuri. We had similar stats so the axe will probably be swinging my way soon.

I've been lurking on here, a bit, but I have a question -

I was wondering if you guys find that people who get the "Application Complete" email before a JR1 means that these people are slated for a hold/WL/rejection, and that people who get the complete email after a JR1 means that these people have a pretty high (or disproportionately higher) likelihood of a JR2? Just a hypothesis from reading this thread, but wanted to see if I'm totally off base...

I don't think the data is significant enough to draw this conclusion. It could be true, but it would require a lot more information to really say so, especially considering it deals with people who presumably already have a 75%~ chance of acceptance.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
