Didn't you get into Harvard.....? :?
Well, I wasn't complaining about my cycle. But I haven't decided yet and thought the info was relevant.

Also: oxford_don also got into Harvard, and he started it.
Ah, right. Sorry, didn't mean to sound accusing.

Would a Darrow sway you towards M instead of H? Just curious.
No worries, didn't feel accused. Yes, the Darrow would make it a hard decision. I'm older and six-figure debt scares me.

+1. I'm only a year out, but $210k in debt is frightening. I'm confident I could pay it off, but if I am also confident I could get a good job out of Michigan it is hard not to consider taking the Darrow.

I also was able to get in to Admitted Students page before, my Application Status now says "Decision," and I get a Sharepoint error page now when logging into the Admitted Students page.

My experience exactly. I'm hoping it's just a glitch, lol.

Gulp...same here. Maybe the admitted students site is down? I saw my status on the admitted students site on Saturday: admitted for Spring/Summer 2011. I'm not sweating it, but I guarantee their office is blowing up with phone calls right about now.

does anyone who has already been officially admitted (i.e. via mail) want to call and ask what's up with the admitted students page?

(my status also just changed to decision and i'm getting the error page upon trying to log onto the site)

I'm thinking about just withdrawing from Michigan.

I guess they really do read the app (read: no optional essays here).

Don't forget, though, that the TLS population is insanely OCD when it comes to applications. I'm willing to bet that many applicants don't attach optional essays and get in just fine. :)

LOL.

Sir, I have no idea why you are not in, yet, but I think assuming that you're out just because you didn't write a supplemental essay is silly. Keep the faith! You never know. And if you are really worried, why not submit another essay, hmm?

This is awesome! Ah, I'm so in love with this school. Can't wait for Admitted Students Weekend.

Darned undergrad's inefficient mail system means I still don't have my package. Gah, I want it!

The waiting is brutal, especially with many other 10/26ers having decisions already
I'm glad I am not the only 10/26er left! I am between median and 75th for both GPA and LSAT, and I wrote a Why Michigan. I've gotten into several other great schools so I don't think there's some glaring error in my application. The only red flag I could think of on my application is that I'm a bit on the young side. Hopefully Dean Z wakes up tomorrow and realizes how much she loves us :D

wow, i have no idea what that means, but its hard to imagine you being rejected with those numbers...best of luck!
thank you! Just got the admissions packet in the mail. I'm guessing there was some glitch. So anyone experiencing the same problem don't worry!!
