I checked the area code (310-825-4321) after I hung up the phone and THEN my heart dropped when I saw it was CA.

But yeah....I'm calling now.
Thats a Los Angeles area code.

With that GPA, it is quite possible. Maybe not a full ride, but something is better than nothing in my opinion!

Fish, do you mind sharing your #s? You're the only applicant who's been waiting as long as me. I'd like to know if I'm in good company or we're both headed to the reject pile....

We have very similar stats and applied the exact same day. I was admitted yesterday and was wondering if Dean Shwartz mentioned anything about money too you

Does UCLA favor GPA over LSAT? I'm a 169 with a 3.64 and complete on 1/13.

I got waitlisted there last year with a 157, so I thought my new higher LSAT would seal the deal!?!

FWIW, I got in last week w/ the exact same GPA and -1 LSAT. Applied around the same date, maybe a couple of days earlier. Good luck!

I applied in early January and have yet to receive the complete e-mail. I called them about two weeks ago, and they informed me I would receive the e-mail within five days. Still haven't received anything... I was wondering if anyone had anything similar to this happen to them? Not sure if I want to be a pest and call again...

Check your spam folder if you haven't already, and call or email again. Are you a February LSAT?

Look at when they applied as well. 60k applicant applied late september, whereas 0k applicant applied late november. he still should have gotten money as he applied well within a reasonable timeframe but he did apply 2 months later than the 60k applicant.

Nope, December LSAT and nothing in spam. Guess I will call again. Thanks!

Waitlisted on Monday. Proceeded to e-mail UCLA telling them that they have always been my first choice and that they are the only place with the program I'm looking for. Here's hoping my enthusiasm gets me some bonus points.

This is a couple days old, but I was accepted on Tuesday night. Numbers in profile, submitted when Dec. LSAT scores came out. No mention of money during the call, but I didn't ask--hopefully the mailing will have an offer.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
