If I refresh one more time and see "10/20" I'm going to puke

don't think there's another date i hate more right now

I knoww....everytime someone gets in and I run to refresh but see 10/20 again, I die a little bit inside

Can't someone rig the status checkers to just email us when there's a change? I'm getting carpal tunnel. and I need a valium.

Submitted late October, UR first week of November, decision sent 12/6. Eeek!

Wish I was RD and getting a decision letter meant getting accepted... but as an ED, the torture continues!

GPA: 3.87

Have been feeling like I'm borderline because of my LSAT, but I guess I'll find out soon enough! Though I sort of feel like if they were going to the trouble to tell us online that a decision has been made, couldn't they just put our decision up there and spare us the agonizing wait? Don't get me wrong, am super psyched about the possibility of NYU, but I'm just sayin.

I have a similar #s, GPA a bit higher. Decision made 11/17 (and unless they're doing things differently than the past, that decision letter will be an acceptance). You're a reverse splitter for NYU, which helps balance out true splitters. In general, it seems there are more of the latter, so you could be okay. Hang tight, especially if you've got decent softs (particularly PI-related, given NYU's PI focus).

Thanks for the encouragement It's so easy to get overly worked up about these things. I'm rooting for you too!

So the mail came and no envelope. Us 12/6ers will likely have to wait until at least tomorrow. Hopefully the 12/3ers will see something (and say something...ah NYC humor...) today.

this is very odd that 12/3 nyc people didnt get their envelopes today...esp. bc nyu emailed me today telling me that my decision had been mailed to my permanent address (i requested an address change)...so i would imagine the 12/3 letters definitely went out that day...this is taking entirely too long...

Nooooo I srsly want to find out already! Last year the letters were postmarked 12/1 and a TON of people got them 12/7. So we might be waiting until Thursday.
