Re: Columbia 2011!
Just received my complete email from Columbia. Kind of an odd time to receive an email from them: 5:07p.m. PST. Could be an automated email set for delivery at a specific time, or maybe they're working long hours?
Anywaysss, now I just need to wait for review!

Please do this!!! Columbia, I'm way beyond your 75th LSAT. You and I could be PERFECT TOGETHER!Kili wrote:I'm predicting they're making a push to slightly increase their GPA median this cycle. LSAT will likely be held at same level or increase a point.
Also, loving the title change.

Well I'm not planning to hear anything until late January so I'm gonna speculate all I want.

Question -
I didn't check the box on the app saying I was sending a 3rd LOR because I only had 2. I just got a 3rd i wasnt expecting (i told one of my bosses i was applying and he offered).
Do you think I need to email/call to tell them Im sending another since I didn't check the box or list him on the app, or should I just send it? Thanks peoples and GL to the EDers.

I'd send a quick email saying you are sending a third lor through LSAC and would they please include it in your file.OrdinarilySkilled wrote:Question -

Re: Columbia 2011! - Fawkes
This happened to me this fall. The easiest thing is to have him send it directly to Columbia, then he doesn't need to form or time for LSAC to process. The office was awesome about this.

I'm thinking notifying them couldn't hurt, especially if it's a good rec and you want to make sure it gets in...any idea how long it will take your boss to get it to the LSAC (assuming you're going to try to send it through the service)? Worth noting also is LSAC may take a week or two to process these nowadays. I actually did the opposite- went from 3-2 b/c a rec writer was having a family issue and I wasn't sure when his rec was coming in.OrdinarilySkilled wrote:Question -

Re: Columbia 2011! - Fawkes
It was processed by LSAC today so its already on there, I just assigned it to all of my other apps and it was sent out but this app asks if your sending more than 2 so I didnt want it to not be looked at. Its probably better than my first 2 which is why I decided to send it now instead of potentially utilizing it later in WL situations.awahoya wrote:I'm thinking notifying them couldn't hurt, especially if it's a good rec and you want to make sure it gets in...any idea how long it will take your boss to get it to the LSAC (assuming you're going to try to send it through the service)?
