Waitlisted at Emory. Kind of a surprise, I was expecting a ding.

i don't respect a school that refuses to accept just about anyone who applies after the december test.

Rejected at BC, Not to many tears!!! Waitlisted at Emory. A nice flash drive from Illinois, made me smile. So, let's guess on W&M, BU, and of course Cornell. Not happen'in is my guess. Stick a fork in me, I'm so done.

Under review at Chicago, finally! Now for the waiting!

Does anyone know what the typical turnaround is to go from UR to decision at Chicago? I'm hoping I'll get a decision before the UVa deposit deadline...

Took them under a week to ding me. Not sure if that's typical, tho...

In at Georgetown after being on their special group within the preferred waitlist. Also, $90k scholly offer from USC.

Semi-rebound after Yale bounced me yesterday.

Congrats on Georgetown! Question -- did your status checker change again after you got in after being waitlisted? Also, I'm guessing you found out by mail?

If I most likely would have applied ED at a school if it wasn't for an issue w/ a letter of recommendation (Professor had a deadline for a book she's publishing), do you think I should mention this in my LOCI, or is it unnecessary/not what they're looking for?

Dinged at Columbia via letter today. Of course not surprised... but you'll never know if you don't try, right?

Placed in Columbia's "Reserve group" by snail mail today. Glad that I wasn't rejected out of hand, but it's going to be hell waiting until the end of May to hear from them. If anyone wants to give me some tips on a Letter of Continued Interest I'd be happy to hear them.

Hope everyone else's cycle is going OK.

Also got the "Reserve Group" letter yesterday. Would be interested in tips on how to maximize my chances of getting in off of it. They say to send final semester grades, academic honors, etc that you've gotten since you originally sent your application, but I've been out of school for 5 years. I've just been working. I think I've accomplished some good things, but nothing particularly notable since I sent my app in January. Should I send a LOCI?

I got a large envelope and small envelope in the mail yesterday from law schools. Unfortunately, large was Michigan housing and small was Columbia reserve. Expected, but disappointing.
