Got my email last week and finally got the letter this week along with a 15k/yr scholarship.

Just wanted to let everyone know that they are starting to release scholarship matching decisions, because I just got a scholarship awarding me a $9,500 scholarship/year. With instate tuition, that pretty much gives me a free year. My highest offer was from SMU, with about 65% tuition, and my highest rank offer was only from W&M. In my letter, I mentioned SMU and my desire to work in Dallas, and I think that is the offer that did it. Hopefully anyone else who has applied will hear soon!

Also received mine today, it was a small but very nice increase. I was surprised because I felt the first offer was very generous in its own right. My largest and most competitive offer was from washu. I am also out of state which is why i was thinking that they had already done enough.

Will it be harder to negotiate the longer we wait? I have yet to receive any scholarship or financial aid info.

I am. I haven't sent my request, but I have $ to Vandy/Michigan/Duke. Interested to hear if others are in my same position and received any money. I am hoping to get the $84K deal that 3.6+ admits received with admission.

I am. I'm above the GPA floor but for some reason didn't get any money with the offer of admission. My only leverage comes from schools below UT in the rankings. We'll see...

the requests have to be postmarked by May 1. and you have to send your actual offer letters from other schools.

167's seemed to get plenty of scholarships in past years, provided they had a good GPA, so I doubt that 167 is what is the limiting factor. I also have a 167 and have 15k per year at vandy and would expect texas to come up with something competitive seeing as they are peer schools...

168 is the LSAT floor this year, according to the admissions office. They did not have GPA/LSAT floors last year.

I don't think 167 by itself eliminates me from scholarship consideration. It must be that my LSAT and GPA are both just barely above the "floors." And non-URM status.

LSN shows a URM applicant with nearly identical numbers and an 84k offer.
