Yeah I think my great softs/LOR'S/PS and GPA snuck me in. Good luck.

Thanks!! God knows I spent enough time on the PS

haha I hear you. I spent practically my whole summer on it. When I was admitted to BC and GW I got a note commenting on it so I think the work paid off.

Wow, that's impressive. The PS was especially difficult for me for some reason. Out of curiosity, how did you approach it?

+ a million. I probably wrote 5 personal statements, and threw them all out before I finally wrote the PS that I ended up submitting. :?

I just got that email about the Public Service Scholarship again and had a mild freakout that it was related to regular scholarship $$. Oh well.

My status checker recently updated from Christmas Eve to the current date (this happened last Friday)...and then I got an email today from the BC Financial Aid Office stating they had been notified that my application was complete.

My application should have been complete last month, did anyone else have this happen to them (haven't read this anywhere in the thread yet, but I wasn't thorough)? I'm thinking about emailing them but if I can get an easier answer here I'd rather do that.

I think that's normal. I got it too, even though I've been "decision pending" for about two weeks. It seems like they just send those fin aid emails out in batches regardless of where exactly your app is in the process.

Did you have DR already? I am DR 1/19 but still don't know what it is since I am abroad and mail seems to take forever.

Any ED applicants who are on hold planning on visiting BC sometime this coming month? Or if people have visited already, how was your experience?

I'm headed there next week to visit the school.

I visited and absolutely fell in love with the school. I'm going to visit again for a guided tour and to sit in on a class in mid-feb.

When you were there did you have a chance to speak to anyone on the admissions committee?

Not yet-- when I was accepted I believe the Dean or Assistant Dean called me and I asked them a ton of stuff. In Feb. I'm going to ask many more questions.

Tram, I'm happy to hear that you liked it. I'm not visiting until March, but was wondering how far away from Boston the school actually was. Did you take transit from Boston to BC or drive? How were the facilities?
