It is automatic but you can check your LSAC account to confirm that your updated report has been sent to each law school.

For the peeps with hammys/butlers: I haven't received my packet in the mail yet - all I got was a scanned PDF of my letter saying that I got in, no mention of schollys. Am I shit out of luck $$-wise?

Yes, from what I've been able to gather from this thread. But you can still fill out the aid apps and possibly get a scholarship later in the spring.
