UR2 as of today.... this has probably been asked before, I'm sure, but does anyone know what the average time is between going UR2 and getting a decision?

It really speaks to how little movement I've seen on all of my applications this week that I got as excited as I just did about finally seeing a date change on my Duke app.

Literally, at this point I'll take ANYTHING.

Anyone know when the priority reserve list will start to be considered? I'm trying to time my second LOCI.

Language was still in place when I was admitted late February. Besides, rejecting you from a provisional admittance because you didn't wholeheartidly interested in Duke seems like bad faith to the extreme. I'd surmise LSAC would frown on it as well.
This is more gamesmanship than the standard YP tactic of waitlisting you with no reason given, but I much prefer it as an applicant. At least they're telling me "we really want to admit you, but will we be able to?" Instead of making me read the tea leaves of a WL, kiss ass, and cross fingers that money hasn't passed me by. We can just have a frank discussion about it...

I was told today that they aren't scheduling PR interviews until 4/20, so i would hazard a guess and say end of April/beginning of May.

Same question here. UR2 today, when should I expect an answer?

Edit: Just looked a few pages back and it seems anywhere from same day to a few weeks.

It's been about a month since my scholarship interview and still waiting. In the meanwhile, Michigan offered me Dean's scholarship. Should I inform Duke about Michigan's scholarship now or should I wait until they send the decision? Thx!

I suggest you send them an email about it.Persuasive value. Might help bump your offer if they have already made one.

I know some have recommended not mentioning other scholarship offers during the scholarship interview, but given that it's getting late in the cycle (and how slow Duke has been in getting scholarships decisions back), might it be a good idea at this point?

Waitlisted via e-mail. Pretty much what I expected at this point.

Just got the waitlist email, going to withdraw later. Figured this was coming anyway since it had been over 4 months since my application went complete. Good luck everyone else that's still waiting.

Dinged via email. Kind of surprised, only because I was accepted to another T10. Not sure where I went wrong with them. Oh well. Congrats to everyone who got accepted!

Same here, just received the email. Sort of surprising because I've had movement from CCN. Oh well, good luck to everyone else!

Well, I guess you can't complain when your first waitlist offer of the cycle comes from Duke. Went complete 11/4, UR on 12/8 with date changes on 3/8 and 3/10, and the email came today. Stats can be found under the same username on LSN.

Many students are waitlisted at Duke and then accepted. I would say that a very large portion of current Duke students were waitlisted, then got off the waitlist with $. Its kind of how Duke does things. Guess its a way to separate who really wants to be at Duke.

Is this also the case for non-YP candidates though?
