Was it just an updated resume, no extra questions or anything? If it was just an update no response is nothing to be concerned about. If you've also been asking a string of questions with no responses of the course of months, then you should probably call.whosinthehousejc wrote:Hi all, got a quick/odd question. Hmm i think it is actually. In that past, when I've emailed them, they've been very responsive.
Silly q, perhaps, but are you sure you're emailing the correct address? jdadmiss@law.harvard.edu ?

Congrats to the admits from yesterday! Finally!
Would've been here sooner but I was taking an exam when you guys were getting admitted.

Looks like the first ASW is a Saturday-Monday (March 7-9). Is that normal?

Normal that it carries over to a Monday? I think it could make sense, as then you could sit in on classes, see what the campus is like with students, etc. But I'm not sure if that's a standard practice.lashley wrote:Looks like the first ASW is a Saturday-Monday (March 7-9). Is that normal?

Yep, that's normal. Too bad it's over Day Light Savings weekend. Folks will need that extra hour of sleep to get over their hangovers :/lashley wrote:Looks like the first ASW is a Saturday-Monday (March 7-9). Is that normal?

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Update:
So far, there have been 9 waves of JS1s offered (this is based on information from this thread when people post that they receive a JS1 - there are obvious limitations to this method):
Monday, October 27th: 10 reported
Friday, October 31st: 4 reported
Monday, November 3rd: 7 reported
Monday, November 10th: 10 reported
Friday, November 14th: 3 reported
Monday, November 24th: 14 reported
Thursday, December 4th: 4 reported
Friday, December 12th: 3 reported
Monday, December 15th: 5 reported
In total, there have been 60 reported JS1s on TLS.
As far as I can tell, the most recent complete date to receive a JS1 is around December 2nd-5th.

I'm sorry. I should report JS1 last Friday, 12/12. Long time lurker. Didn't get a chance to post the past few days. GPA just below 25th and LSAT above 50th. Had my interview today. I think it went well. JS is really friendly.

Yes, that's why it's on a Monday. Those Monday events aren't all that important, however, and you can miss them without really losing anything. Particularly the class visits--I never did it and as a 1L I can't imagine what I would've gotten out of them.pylon wrote:Normal that it carries over to a Monday? Also congratulations to all of the JS2s! I hope to see you at ASW and then Cambridge next fall!

Harvard,
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
This is what happens when i refresh a page 100 times in an hour haha

Good etiquette I learned on here is that if you met someone in person and had a substantive discussion with them (adcomm or possibly alum at an event, or a formal interview), you should send a thank you note. If it's just on Skype, there's no need, and they don't expect it.mpc347 wrote:Don't.greekguy123 wrote:is it normal to send a follow-up thank you for a JS1 or is that overkill?

Re: Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Hello friends,
my circumstances are difficult to interpret- even for myself. I will apply to law school as an international. I am studying medicine MBBS in England. However, I am a US citizen and wish to return home for my legal studies. My secondary education is flawless but my percentages at med school are low, this includes one repeat year. On the bright side I have passed into final year which is a good thing and I am only one year away from becoming a doctor! My LSAT score is 175. What are my chances of Harvard law admission in 2016
Good luck to y'all this year
God bless the USA

I think you're in the wrong thread but...do you have an undergraduate GPA that is reported? If not then you're in pretty good shape numbers wise and hopefully your softs make you stand out!BlessUSA1992 wrote:Hello friends,

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought LSAC will award me a GPA or some sort of category like superior/above average/average. I have not been given a GPA if that answers your query.ChemEng1642 wrote:I think you're in the wrong thread but...do you have an undergraduate GPA that is reported?
