I was having this problem as well. But I found a way around it.sneakyleo wrote:I'm applying to 10-15...still deciding.
On another note, is anyone else having trouble with LSAC tonight? It's not letting me sign in: "We’re sorry. The page you are looking for may have moved to a new location. Select "Continue" to proceed to our homepage."
Google "lsac.org"
Under the first entry there is a sub-entry that says "Future JD Students". Click it.
Then, from there, login as you usually would

I hope everyone knows I was joking about Georgetown. I'm not in with the GULC bashing crowd at all. I would be thrilled and honored if I were ever lucky enough to receive an acceptance from Georgetown Law.

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Haha well I'm preftige obsessed, so GULC definitely appeals to me in that respect. I wouldnt be applying if I didnt like the school or didnt think I could benefit from an acceptance. Also, I think there are many for whom GULC could also make the most practical sense to attend as well. I think the detractors find that this isn't the case for most, but still...there are atleast a decent amount of ppl for whom G-town is objectively the best option. And I visited the place too - loved it. Not even saying this just for lurking adcomms either lol.smccgrey wrote:Lol it's okay. I think there are plenty of legitimate reasons to not really want to go to GULC, especially if there are better options open to you with a better COA.pulstar1 wrote:I hope everyone knows I was joking about Georgetown. But it's technically top 13. Just saying.

So... for a school that you have a good chance of getting in (say, 50% or more according to myLSN).
Are you going to write all the optional essays that are available for submission?
Or are you going to submit just one?

It certainly can't hurt to write all of them - as long as you can write something good for them.kevin0201 wrote:So... for a school that you have a good chance of getting in (say, 50% or more according to myLSN).

For example, I'm not going to write a diversity statement because I'm a white middle-class male. It would be simply inauthentic.
(For the record I'm only writing Why X's and none of the other optionals, and only for the schools ranked 7 and below)

With more schools asking for interviews, what is everyones idea about colors? Are you wearing school colors to the interview or just any color scheme.
ETA: by colors I mean tie or shirt.

Standard interview attired was my plan (dark grey suit, white shirt, blue tie).

Generally, the consensus is that the more conservative the better. Navy or Gray Suit, and the appropriate shirt and tie combination. Leave the paisley and Vineyard Vines ties at home.Dream_weaver32 wrote:With more schools asking for interviews, what is everyones idea about colors?
