Came by standard USPS. It's a folder with a few thin pamphlets, so not a particularly large package. Going to try to get some work done now, so I'll check in later. Good luck everyone!

Reposting an earlier question. How do they handle denials and waitlists? Are they in this wave, or will it be later?
Edit: Nvm, I just looked at the chart on page 1. So it looks like if you do not get a letter this week (and you went complete any time before mid January), you're likely WL or rejected?

So if the status checker still says complete then there isn't any mail coming, right?

I believe Columbia's stays complete no matter what - I think an ED'er commented a few pages back that even after he had gotten in, it showed as "complete"The-Specs wrote:So if the status checker still says complete then there isn't any mail coming, right?

I knew something must've happened given all the chatter in this thread.
FWIW, my roommate last year wasn't in the first wave, totally freaked out that he wasn't going to get in despite his strong numbers and was accepted about 2 weeks later. I'm sure a BCE is pretty, but it's not worth losing your sanity over.
Good luck to everyone waiting!

So I just used this thing:
Using a mailing date of Friday as well as my specific zip code, it gave an estimated delivery date of Monday for standard First Class mail

Maybe your mailbox door was frozen shut and it couldn't be delivered. HTH.lawschool22 wrote:So I just used this thing:

eta: wait, you haven't even checked your mail today, right? So you're just saying you're anxiously awaiting the hours until you get off work and can run to your mailbox?

Maybe they're mailing them out over several days this week? Wishful thinking?

Haven't been home to check, so there's hope. But it totally could be frozen shut

If jojo is trolling, I won't even be mad. This was beautifully executed.

Yeah, come on jojo. There are cameraphones these days. It's very easy to provide photographic evidence.scoobers wrote:jojo pics or it didn't happenlastsamurai wrote:If jojo is trolling, I won't even be mad. This was beautifully executed.

I don't think jojo is trolling. Willing to bet someone a CAS fee.lawschool22 wrote:Yeah, come on jojo. There are cameraphones these days. eta: plus, remember when everyone was convinced that the person who reported a friend's JS2 in one of the first waves was trolling and I called not-trolling? I'm batting 100% on not-trolling predictions so far.

Yeah it could definitely be real especially since it seems a lot of people who regularly would be reporting an early acceptance have been pulled for an interview.

I have my interview on Wednesday, which means I won't be hearing back in this wave. Ughhhhh. Why did they randomly select me?! I'm never randomly selected for anything; not prizes, not all expense paid vacations, not the lottery! Why now?!

In case you want to know, if it's standard UPS, here's where you can see how long it takes.
Assuming mailed from Zip Code 10027, where Columbia is located.
