Congrats to the new JS2s! Also, looks I'm not the only one with the JSBlues.

Haha, awesome. Glad the poems are picking back up. They're so much more fun than the waiting game.trojandave wrote:That was great - truly bravo!Mr. Elshal wrote:I think it's time we take this thread back to poetry.
All-in-all, I feel dejected
No phone call, I'm not accepted
Are any drinks well-suited to
watching people who interviewed
around the same time as you
get accepted as you stare at "Soon"
memes, waiting for your day to come?
Did I screw up my JS1?
This thread is now no longer fun
Cast aside by Crimson
I sympathize while stuck at JS-O
Today my hopes were nearly dispelled
Fearing relegation to the stack of held
But even though things now look bleak
I can't stop hoping they might soon seek
To admit an old app now covered in dust
And I'll see you in Cambridge this coming August
And at least a bunch of us are in this together. Hopefully JS was so overwhelmed by the absurdly high level of quality in this round of interviewees that she couldn't make all the calls in one day, but on a more realistic note, 2 hours at the end of a Monday just doesn't seem like enough time to send out all of the JS2s.
As someone mentioned before, it seems JS has a lot of time not slotted for interviews this week, and there aren't many interview spots left open, so maybe she'll spend tomorrow making us the happiest people in North America.
And, for a simple one:
Roses are thorny
Violets soon die
If I don't get into Harvard
I will cry, and cry, and cry
Now who's gonna volunteer to compile all of these and email them to the Adcomm? We can sign it round-robin and also submit a petition to the White House. If we get 25,000 signatures in 30 days, Obama will be forced to respond!

They have done JS2s in back-to-back days, as well as JS1s, so hopefully we'll see some more movement both ways come tomorrow!

Oh brazen sun
Shining in every crevice
Never meek.
I see thee In every meadow, grove and stream
Why do you fear to shine on me?
Oh lonely sun.
The moon has forgotten thee.
The stars shine so brightly for they take solace in company
If though seeks community Shine on me
We will be (js) 1
united by a common goal we shall dance all day.
Until the moon and stars for times sake must join us in our frivolity.
Setting in peace and serenity
the sky will shine crimson. Rightfully
Shining in every crevice
Never meek.
I see thee In every meadow, grove and stream
Why do you fear to shine on me?
Oh lonely sun.
The moon has forgotten thee.

Quick question: If am I complete on the status checker, does this mean I start waiting for a JS1 (hopefully), or do I need the complete email first?
Thanks and congratulations to all the JS1/JS2s today

Checking-in as well, with my own depressing poetry:
The road ahead looks long and winding
My hope for a JS1 is dying
I should have known
To throw that bone
To the LSAT one last time
But instead, my common sense
Chose to flee and leave this JS0 behind
The road ahead looks long and winding
My hope for a JS1 is dying
I should have known
To throw that bone
To the LSAT one last time
But instead, my common sense
Chose to flee and leave this JS0 behind

How long does it take for them to let you know if you've made JS2 after the JS1 interview?
I have my JS1 in like 14 hours...

Yesterday, the first TLS JS1 was received at about 9:30. It's 10:10 now and it's awfully quiet...

I had my JS1 earlier this morning. I thought it went alright although I could have been more concrete in my answers at certain points.
I was also told that we'll be "in touch soon", so I'm going to be analyzing those words for a while.

I don't mean to dash your hopes..JS ended off my interview with "ill speak to you soon" and I haven't heard anything yet. People who were interviewed before and after me have gotten JS2's. I still hope you get an immediate JS2!yankihote wrote:I had my JS1 earlier this morning. I thought it went alright although I could have been more concrete in my answers at certain points.

Hey, we just interviewed
And this is crazy
But you have our numbers
So call us maybe?
It's hard to look at
Silent phones, KB
