Their women's rowing team is one of the best in the country.
I was on the Men's team in Undergrad. As far as a club team, michigan and virginia are two of the best.
There are a few varsity men's teams in the country, Wisco, Harvard/Yale/Princeton, Cal, Washington to name a few. A lot of people don't know this but rowing was actually the first collegiate sport ever played.
UVA and UMich haven't been able to compete in nationals because they actually started beating them on the water. The AD's for some of the varsity programs said if their teams can't start beating the club programs from UMich, UVA, etc, then they will become club as well aka no more funding.
Anyway, back to when we will all start to hear from these schools? also, i know Harvard has a Law Student rowing club, anyone know if UVA does? I'd love to continue rowing back in LS.
