Just got 35k a year, plus 10k as housing stipend via mail.... sooo surprised! Still in shock.

In via email today!

Since I'm out of the country, they decided to send their acceptance packet via email as well. I was so hoping to get some scholarship information, but nothing yet. I suppose I should start applying for the scholarship with the March 1st deadline.

From what I've been noticing, BU calls people two days in a row and then no more the rest of the week. Tuesday and Wednesday had calls.

In earlier this week! Forgot to post since the call went to my parents' phone.

Too bad I already booked train from DC/hotel/flight home to do a self-guided tour a few weeks ago and can't come to the ASD now.

Just got the call! Had to let it go to VM as I was talking to my boss. She (the assistant dean) said the official admittance packet would arrive in a couple of days.

Congrats to all the admits! Makes for a good Friday. Have any of those waitlisted done anything besides sign up for the WL email? Planning to write an LOCI/visit campus? I contacted someone whose stats for last year's cycle showed WL'ed and then admitted. He said he got a random email in March asking if he was still interested and then got admitted...and then got a $25K scholarship! Not sure about his numbers, but shows there is hope.

I hand delivered a LOCI and a recommendation lol...I happened to be visiting the area. Still super bitter about not being accepted because I thought I'd get in, but I'd still go if I got a good offer.

Does anyone know if BU has a decision appeal process? I asked in an email that I recently sent out and was blatantly ignored.

I just got a call this afternoon and I'm in through voice mail. haha.

When do they give out any potential scholarship info? She did not mention anything about that so should I assume I got nothing?

No. She didn't mention anything about it to me in my voicemail and I had scholarship info in my acceptance packet. Some people have gotten theirs later. It sort of seems like there isn't much rhyme or reason to BU's scholarship process.
