If only applying for merit based scholarships, can you send the scholarship application form before filling out FAFSA? Can I expect to hear back or they won't send me a response until FAFSA is submitted? Sorry to keep asking these annoying questions.goldenbear2020 wrote:Have you submitted the scholarship application form? Can confirm via director of FA that they don't look at FAFSA when determining aid.Lavitz wrote:Yes. you will hear back.StopLawying wrote:If only applying for merit based scholarships, can you send the scholarship application form before filling out FAFSA? My status changed to today's date after UR2/Feb 10 without an email or call. (Interviewed 2/8). Does this mean a ding/WL?

I think it just means that your interview was received and added to your file.freekick wrote:My status changed to today's date after UR2/Feb 10 without an email or call. (Interviewed 2/8). Does this mean a ding/WL?

I was placed on reserve 2/20 and just sent a LOCI this morning. I interviewed 1/30, what are my chances of realistically getting in? How often do people get in off the reserve list? Congrats to everyone who got in thus far!

I think that's what UR2 refers to for Cornell. Also, I remember reading from earlier in the thread that some people received calls after the status change, so I wouldn't write it off just yet.thatblondegirl wrote:I think it just means that your interview was received and added to your file.freekick wrote:My status changed to today's date after UR2/Feb 10 without an email or call. I went UR2 on Feb 10 itself after Feb 8 interview. Today's status change seems like the final one before the decision. And yes, some folks got calls after the final status change. No call yet though.20172017 wrote:I think that's what UR2 refers to for Cornell. Got in today via email/status check 6 days after my in person interview with an admissions officer in NYC. Fyi - i was placed on reserve in late January... I really didn't expect the turn around to be so quick! He made it seem as if it would take 2+ weeks

Congrats that's awesome! Do you mind sharing your numbers? Did you do an online interview before being placed on reserve?jpark86 wrote:Got in today via email/status check 6 days after my in person interview with an admissions officer in NYC. No online interview... i was placed directly on reserve and was asked to do an in-person interview a few weeks laterkotleta wrote:Congrats that's awesome! Do you mind sharing your numbers? Who else is waiting to hear about the Hughes scholarship today?? I know there's at least a couple others from what I remember.
Got some bad LSAT retake news yesterday, so I could really use a Cornell pick-me-up today
