Yea, I interviewed on Dec. 18 and still haven't heard anything/haven't been able to access the admitted students site. I'm thinking that's not a good sign, but looking on the bright side: without GTown in the mix, I only have 2 schools to choose between!johnclaudio1010 wrote:I second this. It appears that most that get in after the interview know within a few days. I interviewed on 12/23, by the way.Law2511 wrote:My application was complete November 16th and I interviewed December 16th. I have yet to hear back from them, and it looks like they usually respond in 11-14 days. Any insight?

Anyone have "application completed" with no status date? Mine has been this way for so long that I can't even remember if I've ever had a date. Submitted/received Nov. 15

Don't think I ever had one. FWIW, I don't have one now and I got in Dec. 21. The G'town status checker is pretty much useless other than for determining the completeness of your app, so I wouldn't read into it.jobz wrote:Anyone have "application completed" with no status date? Did anyone else find out they were accepted today from an email that said "Good morning from our nation's capital! I'm delighted to once again
congratulate you on your admission to Georgetown Law."
There was never a first congratulations, so I want to make sure it's not a mistake.

Have you tried generating a login at the accepted students site? Your letter may very well be in the mail, since they don't email acceptances.Drmrndaphd wrote:Did anyone else find out they were accepted today from an email that said "Good morning from our nation's capital! Mine went very well, too. a rejection isn't what I want, but not knowing may be worse...mathis1490 wrote:Interviewed early December - interview went very well, but still no love from G-Town.

I did! Isn't that really weird? I was so confused and emailed them back asking but haven't got any reply yet.

Can anyone give me some pointers on the interview? What are the types of questions that are asked?

Yeah, I figured now would be a good time to start a GULC thread over at the Class of 2019 board so we can keep this space mostly for news about acceptances, denials, and waitlists. I'll post a link to the thread here when I get it up in a minute and hopefully we can divert a lot of questions about financial aid, open houses, and ASWs to that thread.lymenheimer wrote:Please read the last page or two and/or use the search function...ffsredsxfan2010 wrote:Has anyone heard about money yet? Basically copied and pasted last year's thread, but here it is. Hopefully eventually it'll pick up and declutter this a bit for people that are still waiting for information about Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists.

Anyone have any idea when they might take someone off the waitlist?

If they operate similar to other schools, then there will be a wave after each round of deposits that are due and the rest of the time a very slow trickle. If you're hoping to get news before deadlines for other schools, that might be a long shot.Bouvant wrote:Anyone have any idea when they might take someone off the waitlist?
Then again, Georgetown is a pretty big school, so they might pull from the waitlist more liberally than smaller schools.

This looks infinitely better than the war crime I committed on your banner from last year in MS Paint.
