I've been at UR2 since 02/16. Is it safe to say that I'm probably not going to get an interview invite?

No, I definitely don't think so. I think they do them in waves - I'd be patientvip89 wrote:I've been at UR2 since 02/16. Is it safe to say that I'm probably not going to get an interview invite?

What's the benefit of withdrawing?gazorpazorp wrote:Can someone confirm that I have little-to-no chance of getting a substantial merit scholarship as someone who got placed on reserve in December? So I feel comfortable withdrawing?

How early in January did you apply? I wouldn't get concerned just yet....it seems like they just started sending out interview requests for January applicants in the last week or two (which typically come in waves at the end of the work week). I applied 1/14 and have yet to hear anything either.Tiddlywinks wrote:Getting worried about it getting late in the cycle. Around the 10th. Yeah I've creeped on people with similar numbers on LSN last year and the ones that applied early Jan didn't hear till March. This site just screws with you hearing others get requests while you're just chillingWaitersIsland wrote:How early in January did you apply? I wouldn't worry too much. I applied in early December, and it took nearly two full months before getting the interview request.Tiddlywinks wrote:Around the 10th. Had my interview on 2/1 and was at "Interview Requested" until 2/22. I went back to "Your application is ready for review." This is usually what most people see on the day they receive their decision... But it's been two days and I haven't heard anything! Getting verrryyy anxious.

I went back to application ready for review today after having been at interview requested (after the interview). I'm hoping for speedy news so I don't spend all day worrying!

Do I need to email anyone to confirm they received my scholarship form/tax forms?

I don't think it's required but I called the financial aid office to make sure they got my scholarship form as I faxed it from a public fax machine. I emailed my tax forms in so I assume they got it.JuliusCaesar wrote:Do I need to email anyone to confirm they received my scholarship form/tax forms?

It also took them like 5 days to process which was fine. I called two days later to see if they got it and they hadn't put it in my file yet.JuliusCaesar wrote:Ok thanks. You might want to if you don't hear anything for a week or two. I've seen people on TLS get scholarship offers when they submitted their forms a week after I did. I emailed the office and they were waiting on some documents that I had no way of sending to them. So you might want to just check that everything was received and that they are reviewing your file.JuliusCaesar wrote:Do I need to email anyone to confirm they received my scholarship form/tax forms?

^in that situation, totally good to check. But if it's only been a few days, I wouldn't worry

To get a timeline, I got my offer on Monday and submitted the scholarship form about a week and a half to two weeks before then. Submitted tax forms last week. It seemed like they've been doing scholarship waves though, so your timeline may not match up to mine.

So what forms exactly need to be in in order to get a scholarship offer? I sent in the scholarship form today, but my tax things probably won't be ready for a week or two (and therefore my fafsa and needaccess). Should I expect an offer prior to the fafsa and needaccess being completed, or will I only get one in March when those are done?

According to the thread, people have received merit-based scholarships before sending in their tax info.HALT_REPTAR wrote:So what forms exactly need to be in in order to get a scholarship offer?
