Don't necessarily expect to, but I don't think they'll have people in the office that day or Black Friday.

I think there are actually people either in the office or working from home on them. I think if the emails were scheduled they would be at consistent times whereas that really hasn't been the case.WinterComing wrote:So do they really have people in the office sending out these decisions? Applied PT and was PR'd today. Kind of figured it since my stats aren't too great (170, 3.34) but was hoping for the best. Anyone know how well people on PR fared last year? Really hoping I get in as Duke is my top choice...

With you on this one. I'm also waiting for a response regarding not holding my app. Really don't want it to mess up my PT appgamerish wrote:Submitted on Saturday and went complete today. The email said that any apps going complete today would have their day 10 fall on Thanksgiving and may not get decisions until the first week of December.
Anybody know if going complete means they filed my request to not have my app held for my December score? I haven't gotten a response from them about it yet and don't want to pester them with another email if someone here knew.

I'm UR1 as of yesterday after submitting a couple weeks back. Regular decision.

Relax! It's out of your hands now. You felt good enough about your app to submit it which means you've done your part.

So my status checker changed yesterday to read "Type: Regular" above my review information and I thought it looked out of place. Today that information is gone....Applied a while back and have been UR since October.

I think someone was trying to keep track of their stool and ending up logging into the wrong app.gobears!! wrote:So my status checker changed yesterday to read "Type: Regular" above my review information and I thought it looked out of place. I check my status checkers with regularity so I catch when little things change. And I looked at all of my others and none say "Type:Regular". So I am pretty confident there was a change. No idea what it means but I wanted to point it out in case anyone else noticed that. I was going to bring it up yesterday but wanted to have my facts straight today.lymenheimer wrote:I think someone was trying to keep track of their stool and ending up logging into the wrong app.gobears!! wrote:So my status checker changed yesterday to read "Type: Regular" above my review information and I thought it looked out of place. Re: Duke University School of Law C/O 2019 Applicants
I think I can 100% clarify it now (or at least 99.9%): yesterday, my app said "hold for December LSAT score" and today it says "complete" instead. So even though they didn't respond, I'm guessing they got my email and there's no hold now.gamerish wrote:I just went under review. Didn't get a reply from them so it's probably not necessary if I'm correct in assuming they'd only review my app if they removed the hold.slizerd wrote:With you on this one. Some others in this thread have mentioned that the Thanksgiving break might prolong the 10-day wait. Hope it doesn't for you!slizerd wrote:I have never been so grateful for work to distract me hahalymenheimer wrote:1 day down, 9 to go!slizerd wrote:My PT app just went from complete to UR. In the email they sent, they mentioned a decision might not be made until the first few days of December because of ThanksgivingWinterComing wrote:Some others in this thread have mentioned that the Thanksgiving break might prolong the 10-day wait. 10 days means 10 days. I suppose ignoring the thanksgiving exception or the 11th day emails. I'm assuming you are PT, you should have heard something. No "decision made" update on status checker?chaitealatte wrote:this is probably a dumb question but what does 'ten days' really mean? my application was complete as of nov. 8, but i still haven't heard back... do they mean business days??

Come to think of it mine was probably ten days since I counted the day I went complete as day 1. So yeah ignore that.lymenheimer wrote:10 days means 10 days.
