I haven't received an e-mail yet either. Status checker has updated to "Offer of Admission" and there is a link directing me to the admitted students page, which requires info from the e-mail. Anyone admitted today gotten an e-mail yet?cannonballer wrote:In today via call at 2:20pm EST. Complete 1/7, LSAT >75, 50<GPA<75. No movement fora few weeks so I put together a Why Penn? essay. Do you folks think it would be best to call the admissions office to confirm that they are still accepting addenda, or should i just send it in to the admissions email?
Congrats to all the recent admits!

are people receiving merit scholarship offers with their acceptances? If not, does anyone know when they will be sent out? I know essays requests have been sent out for the big named scholarships, but what about dean's, etc.

Any idea about how many people who are asked to write a named scholarship essay actually receive the scholarship?rfc180 wrote:No. Admit e-mail said early-March.thisisflamelol wrote:are people receiving merit scholarship offers with their acceptances? Anyone have any idea when the toll scholarships are awarded. Been through process including video. Haven't heard anything.

Based on last year's thread, the vast majority of people who were invited to write for the scholarship were awarded the scholarship. However, people motivated enough to post and discuss their invitations on TLS may not be a representative sample of scholarship applicants, so there's no way to know for sure.RZ5646 wrote:Any idea about how many people who are asked to write a named scholarship essay actually receive the scholarship?rfc180 wrote:No. Admit e-mail said early-March.thisisflamelol wrote:are people receiving merit scholarship offers with their acceptances? Did they send named scholarship invites by wave or right after admit emails?
Edit: Just got the invite, so nvm.

I just got a request for the Toll, but it seemed pretty generic -- it was addressed to the "Class of 2019". Is it really an exclusive thing?FastRun wrote:Based on last year's thread, the vast majority of people who were invited to write for the scholarship were awarded the scholarship. Also got Toll invite. There is no way you can link my app with public interest, so I'm leaning towards it's a generic invite.rfc180 wrote: I just got a request for the Toll, but it seemed pretty generic -- it was addressed to the "Class of 2019". Is it really an exclusive thing?

The Toll invite goes to everyone. The Levy and Wilson invites go to a select few.

For those of you who received the Toll Public Interest email, be sure to check your spam as well. While the Toll invite went to my inbox, I just checked my spam and found a Wilson invite in there!WinterComing wrote:The Toll invite goes to everyone. The Levy and Wilson invites go to a select few.

Gmail alerts me for every no-name law school spam message, but then throws T14 scholarship info into the junk folderJusPassItToWill wrote:For those of you who received the Toll Public Interest email, be sure to check your spam as well. It's terrible, isn't it? I missed an acceptance from Chicago because it went to spam as well.RZ5646 wrote:Gmail alerts me for every no-name law school spam message, but then throws T14 scholarship info into the junk folderJusPassItToWill wrote:For those of you who received the Toll Public Interest email, be sure to check your spam as well.
