Well... It's not as bad as being above both 75ths and getting passed up this round. I can't imagine that's a good sign for me.
I feel you

When did you guys interview? I think people who received their interview requests before 11/3 are getting their acceptances, so don't panic!
(*panicking*)

Go read past threads and look at how many people got "passed over" on day 1, 2, 3 and panicked only to get a call a few days later. Chill out all.
Maybe it's alphabetical. Maybe it's reverse alphabetical. Maybe it's by height. Who knows?

I missed out on all the excitement - but congratulations everyone (both JS1s and JS2s) !
Also it is kind of scary JS/Harvette read this thread. I've heard stories of adcomms figuring out some people in the past, but I wonder how prevalent it is...

Hi all, got a quick/odd question. I've emailed admissions twice or thrice (updated resume, follow up) over the last couple of months and have received no reply. Is this out of the ordinary?

I got my JS1 invite on 11/3, so I'm feeling acutely left out right now

IIRC last year, waves typically came two days in a row, so who knows - maybe today is your day!

lol so true. I'm going with optimistic, but also in an ideal world I wish I could just forget I applied.

Thanks, I suppose anything is possible ultimately. I can't decide if it's better for my mental health to be optimistic or pessimistic.
Same boat, similar stats.

Seems like it's all quiet on the JS2 front for now.
My guess is that if there are no calls today, their schedule for the week is:
Monday: JS2s
Tuesday: JS1s
Wednesday: JS1s
Thursday: JS1s
Friday: JS2s

I think the last slots have been 3:40 most days?

yessss
Your theory may hold water, but of course only 1 person is interviewing at a time, leaving several admissions officers free to do other things throughout the day, one would assume.
Strong analysis here
