Slowly. Not looking forward to this argument tomorrow (today). Haven't even bothered with reading for class either, but I was already cold-called last week so at least that can't happen again.
I took the LSAT 4 years ago and cannot remember what RC feels like.

Lets just say, I would prefer to work on your argument then study my RC.
You never know!! It can happen again!!
Wait, you go to Cornell!! How do you like it??

Maybe. It's kind of interesting.
Learn_Live_Hope wrote:You never know!! It can happen again!!
No. Not in that class, anyway.

This requires a long, thoughtful response. I do not have time for a long, thoughtful response. Ask me again when I have free time. Maybe in October.
But I like it for the most part.

Although I don't understand. You're not the only one but so many 1Ls keep saying they don't have free time and it seems weird to me. Maybe I'm just doomed for median pwnage though. /shrug

You realize I'm a 2L, right?
And I did this to myself: I'm an officer in 5 clubs, on Law Review, and doing moot court.

Oh wow, I'm terrible. Yeah, most 2Ls I know are exceptionally busy or aren't. Congrats though on LR and MC!
TBH, if you were a 1L, I'd say what I said still holds. But as a 2L I'll grant an exemption

Indeed. Having experienced both, I had more free time this time during 1L. 1Ls should not be working themselves so hard at this point.
Sorry for off-topic conversation.

PM me.
I have a draft of my PS and a couple Why Xs (2). I'm happy to trade, although I won't be able to look at yours until tonight or tomorrow.

Vastly? No. I still think it's a great and underrated school, and we had a lot of fun.
But my position is more nuanced since I have almost an entire extra year of experience here now, and I've gone through OCI. I can answer specific questions or analyze people's situations better than giving a general why Cornell though, since I have so much I can potentially say.

How many schools are you guys planning on applying to? Even accounting for fee waivers for the bulk of the list, that $28 reporting fee adds up fast

. Now I'm trying to whittle the list based on two things: (1) if accepted, would I actually go here? (2) this one's harder -- if accepted, will this school be strategic for scholarship negotiations later on?

T-13, still deciding on whether or not to shoot a hopeless app to Y.
Not knocking Georgetown, I just know it's not super generous with aid and that's mostly why I'm applying to lower T-14 anyway.

I'm applying to 9- so all the way down the list to duke/mich minus chicago and berk.
I hate Chicago.
Edit: I may reconsider if I get a fee waiver but I'm not soliciting one.

Chicago gave good $$ this past year if I'm not mistaken, could be good for bargaining power.

T14 minus Y, S, and Berk. Still not sure whether to dip below T14 and add Wash U or Vanderbilt. Depends on how I feel about the possibility of getting rejected/waitlisted everywhere else. And it would bring my total number of apps to 13, which is just asking for trouble.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
