Yeah that was in my letter as well. I just wasn't sure if the grad plus is something you have to qualify for or not, which is why I was worried. But it sounds like that's just how ND does it

Appreciated! Just recently fell in love with this school. Hope that love came across in my Why ND essay and gets me in!AceDeuces wrote:Withdrew today. $30K/yr back in the pot. Good luck everyone!

Withdrew last night. As much as I love ND, it just doesn't make sense for me financially. Hopefully my scholarship money goes to someone who needs it to make ND their best option.
Good luck everybody!

This seems like a really odd ding... those number should be auto admit. My only guess is that you did not convey why ND.camelthing wrote:Dinged recently.

Well, this just about confirms my fear. "Decision Made" on Friday, no deposit numbers. 167 3.2x (gpa addendum) and good softs (I've gotten 25 k/yr at wustl and 27/yr at Emory, for example). Didn't write a why ND essay. Really hard to believe that my spending $100 on the damn application isn't enough to convey interest, when ND is one of the few schools I applied to that didn't furnish me with a fee waiver. Plus, I'm Irish and Catholic. Oh well.kyle010723 wrote:This seems like a really odd ding... those number should be auto admit. On the fence. Will see after this weekend. They probably would have had my deposit already if they would have matched or even came close to what wustl and Minnesota gave me

164 & 3.3 GPA. Admitted Jan. 9. On the fence between ND and some Full-tuition offers at T3 schools. I know ND offers much better job opportunities than those schools, but I do have to wonder if the price tag is worth it...
Their scholarship negotiation processes is a no-go. They're taking a hard stance that they will not adjust merit based aid given in the initial offer. Which means I'd be looking at just over 100K in total debt at the end of three years. Can anyone comment on what they think would be a worthwhile amount of debt to take out for a ND law degree?
Thanks!

Everyone is different. Depends on how debt adverse you are, your savings, your family's financial situation (in case you totally screw up). I personally think I'd be comfortable with borrowing 90k overall. I'm pretty close to that figure so I still might attend even if I don't get additional aid.Nova3175 wrote:164 & 3.3 GPA.
