"Unfortunately, I really have no way of knowing. Maybe your idea of “fairly early” is earlier than my idea of “fairly early”; maybe you did get the email but it’s in your spam folder, or there was some other sort of email misfire; or maybe you have been slated for a final decision—either an offer or a denial (not a waitlist, though; those decisions have not yet been made). In the latter event, I’m truly sorry for any anxiety, but anyone who is in queue right now will be processed and notified within a week."

A comment on the link ITT above. Does this mean all those who are complete? Even complete as of Dec/Jan can expect an admit/deny decision in the next week?

Nope. That means that IF your application was received before the date adcomms chose as the "it's been a long time" date, a date that they have not released, and IF you did not receive one of those emails anywhere in your inbox/spam/etc, THEN you are likely to receive an admit/deny within the next few days.
However, if your application was received after that date that was chosen to distinguish those who had been waiting a while, then you could find out anytime between now and the end of the admissions season in theory. Don't try to extrapolate more than is found in these things. When they have a decision made about any of us, they'll let us know ASAP if only to get it off their plate of things to deal with. Until then, they haven't made one.

... Thanks though. Sound advice, and a very good reminder to chill out. I If you wanna just send me a text every morning reminding me of that. Or tattoo it on my wrist or something, that'd be cool too.

Even weirder is that for it to post at 6 am on MLK means the decision was actually made on Sunday? This Michigan system is all sorts of mystery.MnM22 wrote:Woah, on MLK Day?

Re: Michigan Applicants C/O 2017 (Applicants 2013-2014)
In!!! As of this morning. I live and work in DC, and I was so excited that between this and being from the Midwest it didn't dawn on me to check/find out that everything was closed here in town today for the snow that's supposed to hit today. I made it all the way to work before I found out, and didn't even think twice about the fact that there was no traffic on the bus lol. So excited, Michigan is very high on my list being only about 3.5 hours from my parents' house.
I submitted on December 5th, I think I got my status checker on the 12th, went complete right before Christmas I believe (don't remember exactly) and just found out today.
GPA around the 25th, LSAT at the 75th, and I definitely made a point of taking the time to write a solid "Why Michigan" essay. PM me with any other questions. Good luck to everyone else!
Edit: I realized I'd misspelled something. It sounds stupid, I write for a living right now in communications, so that stuff bugs me.

I just remembered I didn't check Saturday or Sunday. And as of this morning, my checker is still updating to the current date. I'm guessing the decision was Friday and it posted in Saturday.vuthy wrote:Even weirder is that for it to post at 6 am on MLK means the decision was actually made on Sunday? I think I went complete on 11/5 or something like that? I got one of the "we're sorry it's taking forever" emails, so I at least know they're still thinking about me lol.outlawscr10 wrote:What're your dates like, LS22?lawschool22 wrote:Still Complete

Last week's episode, when Myrtle gave Zoe the two tickets to Epcot...like, is that a euphemism for something? Urban dictionary wasn't helping me out. It's so absurdly random.MnM22 wrote:Haha, thanks! I didn't understand why she sent them to Epcot either, other than potentially because a lot of people go there for honeymoons, and it's a reasonable bus trip from New Orleans?MrMileyCyrus wrote:
