usc does not have many in PI. you have to find out how good the LRAP school have for lower paying PI jobs assuming you didn't get a good financial deal.eav1277 wrote:Is anyone aiming for PI? Or all gunning for big law? If there any other PI minded, send me a PM

My current status is Complete and the date is 1/14/2013. I'm guessing this means it has not yet been reviewed...
Is anyone else in the same boat?

Long time lurker of this thread so thought I'd finally contribute. Went complete on 1/8, then after the silence CR1 3/12, CR2 3/13. Not really sure what to make out of any of this...

I was 1/8 and just went UCR1 this week. I called a couple weeks ago, and was told that they don't work chronologically, but I can't imagine they have many apps much older than ours.

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
Emailed one of the student ambassador's I met at the LSAC fair about the app process and why my app still hasnt even gone into review and it went complete on 1/2...
He said they are notorious for being the slowest with releasing decisions and its definitely a possibility I'll have to put a deposit down at a different school before I even hear from USC...

Went CR1 on 3/4 from being complete since 1/4. Already at CR2 today, 3/13. Not sure if that fast turnaround is a good or bad thing. I'm thinking the latter
since my stats are both below median

Re: USC c/o 2016 Applicants
I have been sitting on UR2 since 01/25. I emailed about 3 weeks ago asking if they need any information from me and if that's why my application hasn't moved and they replied saying everything was good and I should be hearing back soon.
I want to email again and update them about a reward at work. Is it bad to send them this update given that 1) I'm not on hold or waitlisted yet and 2) I will not also be sending a LOCI.
I just want them to remember me and don't want to end up pissing them off instead.

Was your award at work for curing AIDS? If not, I most likely wouldn't bother. But that's just me, do as you please.VeeD101 wrote:I have been sitting on UR2 since 01/25. I wouldn't send a LOCI if they haven't sent you anything (hold, wait list) yet.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
