Mine is stuck too. I'm desperately wavering between reading it as a positive sign and reading it as a negative sign, while deep down I know that everything is meaningless.
Dean Z. said in her blog that the "still deciding" email is strictly "as of this moment." Some people have gotten decisions later the same day.

very true. there were a few days where the system wasn't updating at all so i guess this could be another glitch in their system. Probably freaking out over nothing.

I dunno man. They were dinging/WL-ing splitters with good numbers and that's not just M doing it. Seems like it's not the cycle expected but maybe places are just going to take a lot off the WL in the next few months?
I'm RD, non URM, below GPA 25th, above LSAT 75th, was WLed last year and admitted this year. Not sure what's going on with this cycle at all now but at least in my personal experience they are dipping lower GPA-wise.

if you're looking for scholarship info via ASW, it might be pointless looking there. i was keeping my eye on ASW for a while, but scholarship the info came via snail mail before it even updated on ASW.
Edit: i just checked, and it's still not up.

Mine is not updating for today, and it seems others are having the same issue. The system is either having problems again or they're about to accept all of us.

A little bit belated but I was accepted with a $75,000 scholarship. It showed up about 3 weeks after I received my acceptance. I actually received my acceptance letter in the mail the same day my status checker was updated.
3.93, 170, MI resident (not sure if that matters)
Most likely will be attending in the fall!

Let's hope it's just broken. LOCI just submitted and it would be a shame to get rejected right after that.

Question. So I was admitted to UofM in late November and never heard/saw anything about $$$, so of course I assumed they weren't planning to offer me anything. Then I got an interesting phone call from someone in the fin aid office last week that basically went like this:
Person: "I noticed that we haven't made you any financial aid offer yet and I wanted to encourage you to submit any offers that you might receive from competing law schools."
Me: "Does UofM publicize a specific list of competing law schools?"
Person: "No, it changes from year to year, so just send us all of your other offers."
Any thoughts on what this might indicate? Does UofM tend to make a lot of matching offers? I took it as a relatively bleak sign in terms of my chances of getting any money from UofM... like they were just throwing me a bone or something.

If it were me, I wouldn't take that as a bleak sign at all. They initiated the conversation, right? Sounds like they want to offer you something!

Yep. No contact since being admitted, and then I received that call.
I was just a little thrown off because (at least based on my scanning of the last 20 pages of this thread, haha) it doesn't sound like this has happened to anyone else. Of course I have to be the typical, paranoid 0L and assume the worst.

If you've received offers or scholarship offers from schools that could lure you away from Michigan, it sounds like they want a chance to compete. Perhaps someone else has received a similar call, acted on it, and can offer more insight. Hope they throw some cash your way!

So, I finished my application on Jan 6, received the e-mail that said Michigan received my application materials, but I still haven't received the e-mail with the UM ID number and status checker URL. It's only two days over the "about a week" they said it would take. Too early to start worrying about it?
